Can we meet in person?
When the Covid-19 pandemic began in March 2020, I moved my business fully online. It works well for me and for my students, and keeps us all healthy and safe. At this time, I don’t have any plans to return to holding in-person meetings.
Can we meet online?
Yes! I have clients all over the world, so whether you live near me or not won’t matter. We’ll use services like Google Docs, Zoom, and Trello to navigate the entire process virtually. As long as you have internet access and a computer, we’ll be fine!
How many hours do I need?
Every student is different, and so are their needs. That's why I offer the option of package rates or hourly. Many students prefer the package option because it allows you to have as many appointments as you need. We’ll discuss what's best for you in a consultation call.
Is there an "All Inclusive" package?
For undergraduate applicants, there are several package options that you will find on the services page. After you buy a package, you'll get a code that you can enter on the payment screen whenever you schedule appointments.
How many students do you have?
It may vary, but in a typical year I have 15-17 package first year students and 5-10 package transfer students, plus approximately 20-25 hourly students who are a mix of first year, transfer, and graduate applicants.
Can you help me apply to grad school programs?
In many cases, yes I can - but not every student or every type of grad school program. Send me an email or set up a consultation call, and we can talk about your options.
How do I make an appointment?
Go to the services page and click on the hourly service you want. It will take you directly to the appointments page, where you can choose a date and time for your appointment and make your payment online, or use your package code.
What is “surge pricing”?
During some peak times of year, I increase my rates for hourly students. This incentivizes hourly students not to wait until the last minute, and ensures that package students don’t struggle to find available appointment times.
Can you help me apply to boarding schools?
No, I don’t offer this particular service. If you want to email me, I might be able to recommend someone who can help you though!
How do I make a payment?
Whether buying a package or scheduling an hourly appointment, you can pay by credit card or via PayPal. All payments must be made in advance. Thank you for understanding that I’m unable to accept cash payments.
What if I can’t afford your help?
Every year, I find ways to support a handful of talented students whose financial needs are great. I can’t help every student in need, but I can help some. Please feel free to reach out via email so we can discuss your situation.
Can you help me prepare for a standardized test?
No, I don’t offer this particular service. If you want to email me, I might be able to recommend someone who can help you though!
